Holy
cow! I love this wine! Unfortunately, with yields in this vintage
around .8 ton to the acre, we have about half the amount we
usually do. But for what we missed in quantity, we seemed to
make up in quality. During fermentation, this wine smelled so
strongly of Andes chocolate mints and raspberry cordial
that it was tempting to jump in the tank and swim around in
it!
Tasting Note: Dark ruby-purple
in color. Perfumed, intoxicating aromas of black raspberries,
mint, bay, and chocolate. On the palate, huge, mouth-coating,
and totally decadent! Easily our most concentrated, intense
Feeney to date. Drink from late 2005 through 2008. (MRO - 3/3/2005)
